High Quality Local Slabs

Since 1972, customers from across the Twin Cities for custom cabinets and lumber.

As the popularity of "live edge" furniture has increased, we have sought to meet that need with the same thoughtful, high quality service we provide the customers of our cabinets and lumber products.

We can send you home with a raw wood slab; or we can work with you to design, build and deliver a custom piece of furniture from a slab of your choosing. Forest Products Supply is a custom shop that allows us to tailor our work to your needs.

We source most of our slabs directly from local tree services and homeowners in the Twin Cities and surrounding communities. We then have the logs milled into slabs and kiln dried in Mora, MN.

We can, and do, source some non-local domestic and sustainably-sourced exotic species from alternative sources.

We have hundreds of slabs available in a variety of species. Some of our slabs are right in our Maplewood shop and some are in our off-site storage barn, but all are available for you to choose from.

Our Slab Inventory

The slabs placed on the internet have been photographed either at Forest Products or our storage barn. Many slabs have been wetted with water to bring out a more realistic grain in their rough state. The slabs are pictured with approximate dimensions and should give the customer an idea of the slab's character.
